“Caminito” at La Boca “was originally the site of the first port of Buenos Aires. The name refers to the place located near the Riachuelo, with a large mouth that leads to the Rio de la Plata.
This place was originally settled by many Italian immigrants, especially Genoese, who had to build their houses with high sidewalks due to frequent flooding. The houses in the Caminito area are also known as “Conventillos”. Typical of the nineteenth century, they are painted in various colors because the Italian immigrants used the ink left in the workshops of the port. Living conditions in the “Conventillos” were extremely poor.
Among these immigrant families were the adoptive parents of the painter Benito Quinquela Martín who created him in Boca between the smell of the Riachuelo, the colored houses and the raised sidewalks. Later on, the young Quinquela would begin her work as an artist by beautifully portraying the landscapes she had experienced as a child.
Today, Caminito, represents one of the main tourist attractions of Argentina.

 como cocinar nuestras exquisitas  empanadas

COMO COCINAR LAS EMPANADAS AL HORNO:
1) dejar empanadas congeladas en la heladera 24 horas para mejor resultado.
2) calentar el horno a una temperatura 180 a  200 
3) una vez que se hayan descongelado pintar con huevo y colocar en una bandeja para cocinar por for 12 minutos hasta

lograr un color dorado.

 COMO FREIR LAS  EMPANADAS:
asegurece que estan descongeladas  y verificar que el aceite haya alcanzado su temperatura  por 3/5 minutos.
